Regarding formulation of separate distinct category of GDS BPM, GDS ABPM and GDS Packer.
Sir,
It is to inform that various communications have been received from Service Associations/Officials requesting that there are 3 categories of employees in GDS, but they all have the only one category of Service Association due to which the interests of all categories of employees are not given proper attention. Therefore, they requested to consider the formation of the following three categories of Associations for GDS employees who are more then 2.5 lakh across the country:

i. GDS BPM
ii. GDS ABPM
i. Dak Sewak
Views of your Association in the matter may please be furnished immediately to the Directorate for further necessary action.
