1. 56.1% Average Remuneration Hike:
   - The remuneration for Gramin Dak Sevaks has seen an impressive average increase of 56.1%.

2. Increment Revision to 3%:
   - The rate of increment has been revised to 3% of the last basic allowance instead of a fixed amount.

3. Children Education Allowance:
   - Introduction of Children Education Allowance at the rate of Rs. 6000.

4. Risk and Hardship Allowance:
   - The introduction of Risk and Hardship Allowance at the rate of Rs. 500.

5. GDS Gratuity Increase:
   - The GDS Gratuity amount has been raised from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1,50,000.

6. Severance Amount Increase:
   - The Severance Amount has been increased from Rs. 1500 to Rs. 4,000.

7. Dispensing with Security Requirement:
   - The security deposit of Rs. 1,00,000 (Rs. one lakh) on engagement as GDS has been dispensed with.

8. Combined Duty Allowance:
   - Introduction of combined duty allowance for Branch Postmasters working at single-handed Branch Post Offices, in addition to their remuneration.

9. Online Engagement Process:
   - The introduction of the online process for the engagement of Gramin Dak Sevaks since 2014, covering more than 1,55,000 post offices.

10. Reduced Minimum Service for Transfer:
    - Minimum service for the transfer of GDS has been reduced from three years to one year.

11. Increased Chances for Transfer:
    - The number of chances for transfer has been increased from one to two for male GDS and three for female GDS.

12. Online Portal for Request Transfer:
    - An online portal for requesting transfers was introduced in November 2022, resulting in over 17,000 GDS transfers to date, with transfers occurring every quarter.

13. Financial Assistance for Covid-19:
    - Granting of financial assistance up to Rs. 50,000 from the welfare fund to GDSs affected by Covid-19.

14. Extended Maternity Leave:
    - Maternity leave extended to 180 days with full remuneration plus DA for female GDS.

15. Paid Leave and Emergency Leave:
    - 20 days of paid leave, along with emergency leave of five days.

16. Compassionate Engagements Drive:
    - A special drive for disposing pending cases of engagement of dependent GDS on compassionate grounds, resulting in engagements for the dependents of 4,135 GDSs, including those who passed away during the Covid-19 pandemic.

17. Educational Qualification Relaxation:
    - Relaxation in prescribed educational qualifications for engagement on compassionate grounds in the 'Dak Sevak' category.

18. Representation Against Rejection:
    - Provision made for representation against the rejection of compassionate appointment, benefiting more than 100 individuals.

19. Decentralized Compassionate Engagement Revision:
    - Revision of compassionate engagement (May 2017 and June 2023) decentralized at the divisional level.

20. Online Portal for Compassionate Appointment:
    - Launch of the online portal for compassionate appointment of GDS on December 11, 2023.
